Welcome to the Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana

Vote “Yes” to Renew on May 2

On May 2, voters will be asked to renew the millage for the Biomedical Research Foundation, which has for more than 20 years fostered a spirit of innovation and growth in Shreveport, helping to create jobs and supporting research, while improving the community.

As the fourth largest employer in Caddo Parish, the work of the Biomedical Research Foundation and its partners supports almost 7,000 jobs in the parish and has an economic impact of $835 million each year. The Biomedical Research Foundation has generated more than $300 million in state and federal grants, which is equal to $7 for every one dollar invested in the Foundation by the millage. That’s a solid investment for the community and its future.

Vote “YES” to renew on May 2 on the Biomedical Research Foundation Millage Renewal to continue creating jobs, diversifying our economy and expanding our tax base. Together we can secure a Healthy Economy and a Better Future for our community.
